Christmas 2023.... A wrap-up

Hi everyone!

Well it has come to the silly season, and here in Australia it is Christmas Eve. I wanted to take a few moments to have a talk with you all about what has happened, what IS happening, and what we have coming for 2024!

Well we have been live since September 16, 2023 which translates to 99 days as of the writing of this blog post.

In that time, we have achieved so many great things.

Some of them include:

- We have raised $1,245,500 Lindens for charity
- We have grown a thriving breeder base of over 550 active breeders!
- We have forged strong, resilliant and amazing partnerships with some of the grids BEST Breedable Markets
- We threw the seasons biggest and craziest party for Halloween, after our record breaking work at Rock your Rock 2023! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yx88Hbcx61A
- So much more!!!!

I want to take this opportunity to thank our beloved Market partners, staff and patrons for their ongoing support, and all the fairy dust mining we see happen all over the place! You are all amazing :)

As to what is coming.

- New Years Eve Limited Edition is coming out - which will only be available at our partner Dancing Waters [pics to come but trust me when I say you will LOOSE your mind!]
- Starting January 1, the Random Drop of the month will be the Fae Flower Carnation skin, so best of luck getting one of those!

Also we are working on our next BIG PARTY EVENT - Valentines 2024 come at us! We have pencilled in the date of February 17 [yes after the day but that way we do not interrupt your actual Valentines] from 10am SLT till 4pm SLT [these times are subject to change at the moment!] We will have a host of singers, DJ's and other entertainment and the theme for the party is "TRAFFIC LIGHTS"

Wear GREEN if you are a single pringle and ready to mingle
Wear YELLOW if you are in a situationship, or are possibly open to meeting someone
Wear RED if you are taken and only happy to make friends

We are planning a bigger event than our Halloween party, we will have One of a Kind Fairies to give away, prizes for best costumes, a host of performers and other entertainments so stay tuned!!!!

As for what is coming in 2024... We will discover more of the Royal Fairies, and the winds tells us that there may be something new soon on the horizon, so stay tuned, keep breeding and have fun!

Regardless of what you celebrate this time of year, I hope you are happy, healthy, and spend the time with loved ones and friends <3

On a personal note, I want to say a few things about the staff who have helped propel the fairies to being a Top Tier breedable in such a short time.

To Carolynn, you are my right arm, and without you, your dedication and hard work, we would barely be off the ground by now..
To DevilinWings, thank you for putting up with the back of my head so often, know that I do love you and I am grateful your support and love helped me get us where we are!!!
To Mossy, I have said it before, and I will say it again - We are taking over the grid, and when we work together, NOTHING is impossible <3
To Henna, my daughter, and one of the finest CSR's on the grid - you always bring the brightest of smiles to the job, and you make every person you interact with, a better person for merely sharing your sim space!!!
To Charlie, my friend, my equal and another of the finest CSR's I have ever had the pleasure to work with - your cheery, sarcastic and wonderful personality brings so much positivity that is hugely infectious!
To Pea, you and your bratty mouth are exactly the energy and vibe that helps to make the Fae Folk what it is - a fun, safe, enjoyable place to be! Thank you!!!
To Jas, you bring joy and laughter everywhere you go - you are a true gem and we are blessed you are in our world!
To Trixie, for years you have supported, cared for and helped those around you, and for that, you are truly cherished!
To Juliet, our english rose! You are sassy, fun, charming and adorable! We are so lucky to have you in our team, and in our world!
To Nina, you make every interaction hilarious, you always bring a joy to everyone you interact with, and we are lucky to have you in our team!
To Kitten, our original shadowmancer! You come from the darkness but ironically shine nothing but light, joy and cheer everywhere you go!
To Cat, our gigglebutt! You bring a sense of family, security and peace to our rambuntious crew, and you need to know that you are a wonderful person, and we are lucky you agreed to work with us!

To all of the staff of The Fae Folk, our breeders and greater community, I want to wish you all a bright, joyous and safe Silly Season, and here is to smashing it out of the park in 2024!!!
