Our first 10 hours of BETA and WOW

Hi everyone, your friendly neighbourhood script monkey here with a bit of an update on how things are going with BETA.

About 80% of those who bought pre-sales have collected their BETA starter Packs already and we have over 1,000 Fairies currently live on the grid.

A few things for TESTERS to be aware of:

They are currently set to operate at 6 times normal speed, so 1 day for us, is 6 days for the fairies
I am aware of the typo in the hover text for the starter Crystals and that has already been fixed ready for the next update.
Some people have commented on the Aether, and Treats being disabled - this was done intentionally.
The pairing modes for the Romance is not currently working - I know where the issue is, and have already resolved it and will roll out a Redelivery Mushroom soon which will have that and many more fixes included.
We are working on expanding the HELP section of our website with articles and many tips and tricks on how to get the most from your Fairies - check it out here
There was a reported issue of movement not reactivating properly, I have found and fixed the problem already and again will be rolled out in the next Mushroom update!
The Redlievery Mushroom - the bulk settings is not working [it was disabled in this release to force people to use the codes to test that functionality] and there seems to be an issue with the bulk redelivery - I am looking into that right now. [well once I finish this blog post lol]
There was an issue shortly after we went live, where user accounts were not being correctly created and there was approximately 50 fairies born that did not have proper linking to a player - this has been rectified, tested and confirmed working normally - those 50 fairies we reached out to those players, they deleted them and rezzed more [and now you all see why I made the BETA STARTER fairies COPY!]
Some people have noticed that that sounds for the fairies are extremely quiet almost to the point of silence - i have looked at this and will be increasing their volume so they are easier to hear, but still quiet and "fairy like"

Lets talk about the portal

Some really AMAZING feedback was left by a couple of breeders, where when you are in the portal if you navigated away from your fairies, silly old Tanis forgot to put a "My Fairies" link in the menu - this has now been corrected [and will only show up when you navigate away from your Fairies page.
The pagination - I am still working on it - I know it is not 100% but please bear with me a couple of days I promise it will get fixed soon!

You have all been amazing, supportive and I am beyond blown away with all the love and ourpouring of support and enthusiasm from each and every one of you.

Another fun fact that was brought to my attention. The day I registered "thefaefolk resident" was the day that this project began. From the date of this posting [that is the day we started BETA] that was exactly 69 days ago. We went from zero to a BETA breedable in 69 days!

I have to give a lot of love to my team for helping me bring the Fairies to the grid!

To Carolynn, our general manager, my 2IC and my right hand - you have been invaluable both helping with so many of the tasks you take on happily, as well as supporting me and our greater community - you are a legend in our life time!
Mossy - our "graphical goddess" - your Mesh and GFX work are beyond compare - you are truly one of the FINEST most AMAZING Mesh artists on the grid and it is nothing short of an honour to work alongside you.
To DevilinWings [my RL Partner - yes pity her lol] thank you for the understanding, the acceptance when I didnt get enough coffee or sleep and the help to make the fairies what they are today! I love you!
To all our Chat mods, know that I know your hard work and everything you do to help the word of the fae spread, and you are helping and guiding our community - I am blessed to have you as part of our team!
And finally [and by no means least] our Market Partners - who have given a start up a chance, saw what we have and what we are doing and decided to work with us ... We thank and <3 you all!

Let me give you a bit of a report on the Server since the migration: As of today with over 1,000 Fairies on the grid, we are using less than 2% of our combined resources across the server, let me break that down for you.

With 6 x accelerated growth, that 1,000+ uses the same load as 6,000 fairies
So with that math, 60,000 fairies would ONLY be using just under 9.5-10% of the server load
Also remember we do daily AND weekly backups! So everything is safe, and secure

OK Now I am back to finishing my coffee, and begin looking at some more amazing feedback from our breeders and looking at fixes :)
