The End of BETA and FINAL RELEASE

Hello my friends, and welcome to what will be our LAST BETA Blog Post!

It has been a very interesting time over the last few weeks hasnt it? At the time of writing we have over 17,000 fairies live in BETA mode [that means running at super fast speed not normal speeds] and there has only been a few minor issues that turned out to be nothing more than me having no sleep and making typos lol

I have officially finished my BETA update programming, and those things have now been tested quite thorougly and I am confident we are ready to GO LIVE!

So with that in mind, I have a few dates for you!

Close of BETA	12 September 2023
Going Live Date:	16 September 2023
Live for non pre-sales	23 September 2023

Why is there 2 live dates?

When we first opened PRE-SALES, I made the promise to all our PRE-SALES purchases that they would have a 7 day head start [another of the perks of being a pre-sale] so If you did NOT pre-buy your fairy starter packs, then you will be able to buy them on 23 September 2023!

Those who DID pre-purchase a starter pack, you will be able to collect your pre-purchased pack(s) on 16 September 2023!

What happens to all the Fairies on the grid currently?

Well since they are BETA fairies, then I want to be clear that they will be moving onto the Aether and will disappear from your portals and your land etc on 12 September 2023. Any that you hold in inventory, will rez but will fail their security checks and head off to the Aether after that point and you will not be able to redeliver them [as they are no longer on the mortal plane of existence!]

What is different out of BETA?

Well for starters, the SPEED of the fairies biology - it will be brought back to normal speeds, that is feeding once per hour, NOT every 10 minutes like they were. Your BETA FOOD will NOT work for the Live Fairies and your Feedback Statue will change from a scripted feedback device, to a non scripted trophy Statue stating you were a BETA tester.... Oooo and there is ONE MORE THING that will be different...

LOW PRIM MODE has been activated for the final release... What is Low prim mode? Low Prim Mode is a static version of your fairy that does not move, animate, make sounds OR speak and has a lovely static pose. You can activate LOW PRIM MODE on any fairy by clicking on her, going to Settings > Movement > Low Prim > Enable Low Prim Mode and to come back from LOW PRIM MODE [so your Fairy can move, speak, animate and make sounds] click on her and go to Settings > High Prim Mode > Enable High Prim Mode. You will also be able to bulk set your fairies high or low prim modes while doing bulk redeliveries by selecting "High Prim Mode" or "Low Prim Mode" while doing a bulk redelivery through your mushroom! The Low Prim Mode comes in at a very tidy 5 land impact however I cannot stress this enough, IT WILL NOT MOVE! IT WILL NOT ANIMATE! IT WILL NOT MAKE SOUNDS OR SPEAK!

Anyway now that you have had time to digest all this, I am back to the build space to finalise everything from my end, and I am grateful for all our BETA TESTERS! You have been amazing and I am grateful for you ALL!
